Installation
Installing Bruce hardwood flooring in your home is one of the greatest investments that you can ever make. Without a doubt, it will add to the ambiance of any area of your home. It will add more value to your home in the event you want to sell your home. Every series in Bruce hardwood has full warranties depending on grade and species. Options are three grades of wood – Good, Better and Best . The Best grade is the priciest of them all, but also offers the very best warranty.
Bruce hardwood flooring along with nature, create the unique variation in each strip of floor that comes off the factory line. This variation exists in all series of Bruce hardwood floors because no 2 strips or planks are the same. You do have to be careful even on wood floors even though it is solid. If you put furniture or appliances with sharp points on the wood, it will dent especially if it is heavy.
Are you installing Bruce in high traffic areas? The Dura Lustre Plus polyurethane finish will allow you to have it installed in these type of areas with no problems. Bruce also has commercial urethane finishes for its hardwood floors, but it does not recommend using any type of rug or matting in traffic areas. Waxing of floor is also not recommended.
